10/19/2019 - College PREP - Erie, PA Mackenzie Shady is a 2023 right handed center fielder with a developing skill set. In the outfield, Mackenzie has an active pre-pitch approach. She has efficient footwork into the ball and fields in a low position. She works behind and through the ball well and receives the ball in front of her eyes. Activating her lower half will allow her to increase accuracy and speed of her throw. Offensively, Mackenzie has a low setup in the box and on-time approach to the ball. She makes hard contact with the ball and has the ability to spray the field.
