01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Madison is two time Softball Factory Rookie All American. In the box, Madison is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance. She uses a square stride, in on plane with her swing and works opposite field. Working to create more timing in her swing will allow her to hit to all fields with more power. In the OF, Madison is able to show off her speed. She gets to the ball quickly and has a nice loose arm action. Working to play through the ball more will allow her to see more carry on her throws. Overall, Madison is naturally athletic and we look forward to watching her take her game to the next level.
01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Madison Callaghan is a 2025 outfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, her biggest strength is her speed accompanied with an accurate arm. Her hands are out in front of her body when receiving the ball and the exchange of the ball from her glove hand to throwing hand is clean and quick. Offensively, Madison hits the ball well to the opposite field and has an on-plane swing. Overall, Madison shows great aptitude.
