12/29/2019 - College PREP - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Madison is an athletic C/3B prospect who will graduate in 2023. Behind the plate, Madison sits in an athletic stance and tracks the ball into her glove well. She throws from a high 3/4 angle and works to keep her throws accurate to the 2B bag. Increasing her range to block can help Madison improve as a C. At 3B, Madison gets into a low position and fields the ball with soft hands. She gets rid of the ball quickly, working to keep her throws accurate to her target. Madison can improve as a 3B by working on her footwork. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes her stride on time. She is smooth getting back into her load and is explosive driving her lower half through. She generates fast bat speed through the zone, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Letting the ball travel deeper into the zone can help Madison improve as a hitter. With three more years to develop, Madison has the time and potential to further progress her skills on the field.
