12/27/2013 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Madison is an athletic, young freshman short stop with a developing skill set. Defensively, Madison has an athletic fielding position and uses two hands while fielding a ground ball. She also has clean feeds with an accurate arm. By playing a few steps closer to the batter, Madison will have a stronger throw to first base and quicker transitions. Offensively, Madison uses a small load with a short, square stride and centered balance to make a positive move to the ball. Madison has fast bat speed, which leads her to consistently make hard contact. By working on her extension, Madison will become a more consistent hitter to all sides of the field. Overall, Madison is an athletic player that will continue to grow and develop.
09/08/2013 - College PREP - Medfield (Boston), MA Madison is a versatile young SS/OF with a steadily developing skill set on both sides of the ball. As an OF, she has a good understanding of the crow hop and how to use it, is aggressive to groundballs and takes good angles to the ball. She flashes carry on some of her throws, plays with high energy and should continue to work on staying lower in her approach to groundballs, fielding the ball either between her feet or off of her glove side foot and tracking fly balls off the bat aggressively with clean routes. As a SS, Madison keeps active feet pre-pitch, is aggressive to the ball and plays through the back hand pretty well. She will benefit from eliminating the glove flip to field and quickening her release with cleaner footwork to throw. Continued work around the bag on both sides of the double play will improve her comfort and confidence when turning 2. At the plate, Madison uses a tall stance with no load a short stride and keeps her weight back before launching her hands through the zone with a level swing path. She sees the ball deep into the hitting zone, uses the whole field effectively and will benefit from using her lower half more aggressively to aid hands in producing more bat speed. Overall, Madison has a ton of potential and should continue to seek quality instruction and reps to ensure her development progresses from year to year.
07/19/2013 - Factory Development Institute National Select Program Madison continues to develop as an athlete. Her hard work, positive attitude, and desire to be a better athlete set a tone on the field. As a SS, she has an athletic fielding position, confident glovework with a quick exchange, active footwork and plays through the ball defensively, agile range to various balls, and decent double play feeds and pivots. Continuing to focus on staying down and through the ball and bag coverage footwork/awareness will increase efficiency and fielding success. As a hitter, she has an athletically balanced set with an established stride and load that produces line drive contact consistently. Focusing on keeping the front side closed, letting the ball travel into the hitting zone, and an explosively consistent lower half will increase power and efficiency. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase speed, agility, power, body awareness, and coordination. As Madison continues to develop and mature through application and experience, she will be on track for seeking collegiate attention.

Continuing to focus on arm strength, accuracy, routes, pre-pitch position, and reads off the bat will increase efficiency and fielding success. As a hitter, her athletic approach to the plate and fluid rhythm produces contact to all hitting fields. Continuing to focus on driving the hands through the zone, implementing a stride and load, and timing will generate more power and efficiency. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase her overall agility, athleticism, and endurance. With continued application of recommendations, Madison will be on track for collegiate attention.
