02/12/2017 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Madison is a 2019 right-handed pitcher, first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Madison has quick footwork and shows good range in all directions. She is square in her fielding position and has soft hands when receiving. Madison picks the short hop well and has a clean exchange to throw. She has short arm action and displays good backspin on her throws. In the circle, Madison has a calm presence and is athletic with her balance on each pitch. She has fluid arm action and uses her legs well for power off the rubber. Madison uses a curve, rise ball combination to keep the hitters off balance in the box. She has good spin and also mixes her change up in effectively. Offensively, Madison is square in her setup and takes a short stride to contact. She loads well in her legs and stays balanced throughout her swing. Madison hits with a firm front side and has explosive bat speed. She has pop to the pull side and finishes through the ball well. Overall, Madison is a great athlete that will be an asset to any team she is apart of. She will only get better and improve on what is needed to play at the highest level.
