01/12/2014 - College PREP - Lewisville (DFW), TX Madison is a second baseman with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively Madison has quick and sure hands with a quick and accurate throw to first. She does a good job of staying low while fielding and increasing her range. Madison will benefit from moving through the ball and working on her backhand. Offensively, Madison uses a square setup with a backwards load and short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has a level swing and consistently hits the ball to both sides of the field. Madison is a selective hitter with a lot of power potential. By working on incorporating her backside into her swing, Madison will be able to add more pop to her swing. Overall, Madison is a hard worker that will continue to develop as a player.
