01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Madison is an athletic 2024 SS out of New Philadelphia, OH. On this day she would post a very impressive performance. At SS, Madison showed off her athletic ready position, + energy, and + body language. These tools are key to compete at the next level. Not only did she impress in the IF, but Madison also showed her pop off with a 64 mph exit velocity. This would continue her day posting numbers well above the HS average. Her square set up, high hands, and controlled rhythm, would help her make consistent hard contact all day. Overall, Madison is a solid SS with great intangibles, we are excited to see her future in this game.
12/27/2020 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament - Prospects Madison is a coachable MIF prospect who worked hard on her skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. In the field, Madison shows smooth footwork and is agile moving to the ball. She gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of her body. Her exchange is quick and she gains ground well on her throws, keeping them strong/accurate through her target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. She is fluid to load and is explosive driving her lower half through. She works through a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud line drives. Overall, Madison is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon her skills on the field.
12/28/2019 - College PREP - Pittsburgh, PA Madison is a MIF prospect who will graduate in 2024. In the field, Madison shows active footwork and makes the routine plays. She makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on her throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to her target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Madison improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. She is smooth getting into her load and produces solid contact to all fields. Madison can improve as a hitter by continuing to add strength. With four more years to develop, Madison has the time and potential to further progress her skills on the field.
