Feet are active as she attacks balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and she presents well out front. In the OF, she takes proper routes/angles in tracking down balls and works to get behind and plays through with momentum to her target. Throws are accurate with on line carry (54 mph velocity) to her target but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows solid power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (56 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She has strength in her swing and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Makayla has potential with time and room to progress her game.
