10/19/2019 - College PREP - Erie, PA Makenna Gordon is a 2022 right handed center fielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, Makenna makes plays consistently. She has soft hands and a clean exchange. Her throws are accurate to her target and she shows strength in her release. Developing an active pre-pitch approach will allow her to keep her momentum through the ball when fielding. Offensively, Makenna has a square setup and short stride. She loads well into her lower half and has good forward momentum. Her rhythm is fluid and her barrel is fast through the zone. She consistently squares up the ball and can hit to all fields.
