04/07/2019 - College PREP - Billings, MT Marleigh is a 2022 second baseman and outfielder with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and shows range to both sides. She moves well through the ball and reads the ball well off of that in the outfield. She tracks the ball well in the gaps and stays aggressive to the ball. She stays light on her feet and has a quick release on her throws to her target. She makes accurate throws from the outfield and good flips to the first baseman. Offensively, she has an open set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She stays center in her balance and keeps her hands inside the ball well through the zone. She shows good pop up the middle and makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Marleigh is very coachable and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
