01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Marley continues to show as a top prospect on the field. In the OF, she displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as she takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. She works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to her target. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Range is a plus as she moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with carry (51 mph velocity) to her target. At the plate she continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (62 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Once on base, she is an aggressive baserunner with great instincts. At the event, she was 6 for 9. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable, works hard to be the best player she can be, and is a team player.
