04/14/2019 - College PREP - Columbia, SC Maycee is a 2020 right handed shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has quick feet and range to both sides. She stays athletic in her fielding position and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She makes accurate throws to her target and creates solid momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square stance in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and stays center in her balance. She has fast hands through the zone and shows solid contact to her pull side. While slapping, she keeps her barrel downward to the ball and is controlled in her footwork through the box. She gets out of the box quickly and makes consistent contact. Overall, Maycee has a great attitude and is very coachable.
