08/12/2018 - College PREP - Boca Raton, FL Meagan is a 2023 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has a good pre pitch motion to the ball and stays square in her fielding position. She has soft hands receiving the ball and makes accurate throws to her target. She adjusts well and sticks with plays all the way through. Her throws are on line and she creates smooth feeds to second base on double plays. She needs to work on staying low on her backhand side so that she can create more range and get to more balls on that side. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She hits to all sides of the field and has the ability to drive the ball hard. Overall, Meagan is timid at times but once she gains the confidence in herself she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
