05/05/2013 - College PREP - Nashville, TN Melissa is a developing athlete. As a 3B, she has carry on her throw, decent transfer, and good range towards the gloveside. Focusing on a balanced approach when fielding, staying low and through the ball, and an athletic finish when throwing will increase glovework, footwork, and range. As a hitter, she has good rhythm and makes contact. Focusing on a square, balanced set up with a short, quick bat path, and tracking the ball will increase power and consistency. With implementation of the above recommendations, Melissa will continue to be on track for collegiate attention.
