01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Mia is a two-time Softball Factory Pre-Season All American. Throughout the weekend Mia proved to be a team player that wanted to contribute on both sides of the ball. In the box, Mia is a strong player that shows good pitch recognition. She has a controlled approach and can hit to all fields with power. In the OF, Mia reads the ball off the bat and hustles every play. She handles the routine play well and gets the ball in quickly. Overall, Mia has the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
01/18/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Mia is a 2020 right handed third baseman with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has a strong base at third. She keeps the ball in front and stays low through each play. She needs to work on playing more on the balls of her feet rather than on her heels so that she can be quicker in her footwork when moving to the ball. She is short in her action and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, she has an open set up and a short stride to the ball. If she creates more weight transfer throughout her swing she will produce harder contact. She is powerful and has great work ethic.
