08/18/2013 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Micaela is a developing athlete with potential to develop. As a 3B, she has an athletic body and good double play throws. Focusing on an athletic pre-pitch position, staying down and through the ball when fielding, and finishing the throw will increase accuracy and consistency. As a hitter, she has a balanced set up, produces contact, and speed on the bases. Focusing on a stride and load, driving the hands through the zone, and utilizing the lower half will increase power and efficiency.A strength and conditioning program will also increase overall speed, agility, power, body awareness, and coordination. With implementation of the above recommendations, Micaela will be on track for seeking collegiate attention.
