06/20/2014 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Miranda is a freshman outfielder with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Miranda receives the ball with soft and sure hands. She takes good angles to the ball at times and has agile range to her glove side. Miranda has an accurate arm with carry strength. She will benefit from fielding a ground ball off of one foot and continuing her momentum through her throw. Offensively, Miranda uses a square setup, backwards load, and long stride to make a positive move to the ball. She consistently makes hard contact to the left side of the field. Miranda does a good job of keeping her head down and eyes on the ball to contact. By working to shorten her stride and become more in control of her balance, Miranda will be able to stay on the ball longer and get to the extension position. Overall, Miranda is a hard worker that will continue to develop as a player.
