11/19/2014 - Softball Factory Fall Classic Miranda is a hardworking right-handed pitcher / second baseman with a well-balanced skill set. On the mound, Miranda has on time separation, fluid arm action, and extends through the release point. She has good mound presence, above average speed, and locates the ball well on both sides of the plate. At second base, Miranda has proper footwork and moves well from side to side. She receives the ball with soft hands out in front of her body. Miranda has a fluid throwing motion and makes accurate throws all around. Offensively, Miranda uses a square setup, active load, and small stride to drive to contact. She has on time rhythm and maintains good balance throughout her swing. Miranda takes a direct path to the ball and makes contact with a positive slight up angle in her barrel. She does a good job of generating power by keeping her hips and hands in sequence. Overall, Miranda is a competitor that will continue to work to play at the next level.
01/17/2014 - 2014 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Miranda is a junior right-handed pitcher / second baseman that was selected to play n the Pre-Season All-American game. On the mound, Miranda uses an athletic stance with a full arm swing to deliver the ball. She has a good mixture of pitches, with her curve ball having the tightest spin. Miranda will benefit from slowing down her change up and creating a real difference between the pitches. At second base, Miranda has a controlled approach with clean hands and active footwork. She has good range and has the ability to move side to side smoothly. By working on a pre pitch positioning, Miranda will have a quicker first step to the ball. Offensively, Miranda uses an athletic setup with a hands back load to make a positive move to the ball. She maintains centered balance with a firm front side when driving through the ball. Overall, Miranda is a hard worker that will continue to develop as a player.
12/27/2013 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Miranda is a right-handed pitcher that can also play a solid second base and contribute to the heart of a batting line up. On the mound, Miranda has good control of her pitches and mixes them up well. Her rise ball is consistently up and in and tends to be a challenging pitch to hit. By keeping her backswing in line with her arm circle Miranda will improve her accuracy and delivery. Defensively, Miranda has an out front fielding position with clean and firm hands. She has active and efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. She has playable range with an exceptional forehand. She has an accurate and consistent arm and looks fluid and comfortable. Offensively, Miranda has an athletic and square set up with a hands back load. She maintains centered balance and makes consistent contact. By incorporating her lower half and adding extension to her swing, Miranda will become a more consistent hitter to all sides of the field. Overall, Miranda is a very coachable kid that wants to continue to grow and develop into a collegiate level player.
11/23/2013 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Miranda is a well-rounded athlete that is able to contribute to the game in many ways. Defensively, Miranda is primarily a pitcher that has exceptional accuracy and control of her pitches. She is definitely a finesse pitcher that is able to keep batters off balance. Working on using her legs more efficiently will only improve her pitches. While playing second base, Miranda hustles to the ball and is able to make the routine play. When Miranda works on staying lower to the ground she will increase her fielding range. Offensively, she is an aggressive hitter with consistent pop. Working her extension and her ability to stay inside the ball will help increase her consistency to all parts of the field. Overall, Miranda is a talented athlete that will continue to improve and develop as a player.
