Working on a more athletic pre-pitch and composed approach at times will help her make clean and efficient plays. Overall, Monica is aggressive with a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she has a short stride, a quick bat and good extension before launching to the ball producing contact to all hitting fields. She shows good hitting potential and will benefit from keeping the front side closed to improve contact, ultimately, allowing her to access the entire field consistently. Overall, Monica has a good frame for the position at 5'6 and has solid athletic ability to aid in her continues development as a player.
