01/14/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Morgan is a catcher who graduates in 2022. She tracks the ball well and has a quiet head. She is vocal and has a pop time of 2.09 seconds. She can play multiple positions as Morgan is also a utility. She has good strike zone awareness and hits to both sides of the field. Morgan has quick hands to the ball. Improving her contact point to inside pitches and being more aggressive in hitter's counts will improve her effectiveness in the box. Timing and blocking drills will help Morgan take her game to the next level. Overall, Morgan is a team player who possesses the skills and tools to continue improving her game on the diamond.
12/29/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Gambrills, MD Morgan is an athletic C/SS who has a promising future on the field. At SS, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Range will increase as she improves foot quickness. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. Behind the dish, she presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow her to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Pop times show in the 2.09 range with accuracy on her throws. Times will continue to drop as she builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate she shows a crouched setup. Hands are quick (63 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. With 2 years to further develop, Morgan has potential with time and room to progress her game.
