01/17/2014 - 2014 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Morgan is a junior C/3B that was selected to play in the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Behind the plate, Morgan has an athletic, low, and flexible set up. When receiving the ball, she has soft and sure hands with clean transfers. Morgan blocks the ball exceptionally well by centering her body and gaining ground. While playing 3B, Morgan has an athletic and out front approach. She has soft and sure hands and plays through the ball. Morgan has efficient footwork with agile range. Morgan will benefit from staying lower when fielding backhands. Offensively, Morgan uses an athletic setup with a smooth load and short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has explosive bat speed and a solid lower half, which leads her to making hard contact. Morgan gets good extension through the ball and drives it hard to the gaps. Overall, Morgan is an athletic player that will continue to grow and develop.
