Defensively, she has a strong base and covers her position well. She keeps the ball in the infield and displays range to both sides. She is active in her footwork and athletic in her fielding position. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and transfers quickly. Offensively, she has an open set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She keeps her swing short and compact and drives through her lower half to create solid power behind her contact. Overall, Morgan shows good pop to her pull side and works hard for her team on the field.
12/16/2018 - College PREP - Madison (NYC), NJ Morgan is a 2022 right handed 3B with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has quick feet and range to both sides. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She is quick in her exchange and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, she has an athletic setup in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays smooth in her rhythm. Her hips and hands work well together and she makes hard contact consistently. Overall, Morgan has a great attitude and with continued hard work, she will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in the future.
