08/04/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Ashburn (DC), VA Mya is a 2025 third baseman and centerfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is agile in her range and stays low through the ball. She fields the ball out in front and comes through each play with solid momentum into her throws. She keeps her throws on line to her target and stays fluid in er release. She needs to work on eliminating some of her steps in the outfield. She takes too many steps leading into her throws at times and it slows down her release to her target. Offensively, she has a firm front side in her swing and sees the ball well to her barrel. She adjusts well when needed and shows good pop to her pull side. If she focuses on using her lower half more through her swing she will see more consistency in her contact. Overall, Mya hustles hard and has great work ethic.
