03/18/2018 - College PREP - Conway (Little Rock), AR Mykayla is a 2020 outfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, she shows solid arm strength behind her throws to her target. She has proper throwing mechanics and makes routine plays but by focusing on staying light on her feet and attacking the ground balls will solid momentum Mykayla will start to build her range in the outfield. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and keeps her head on the ball throughout each swing. She needs to make more use of her legs in her swing and really drive through her lower half to create more power behind her contact. She tends to let her hands get away from her sometimes and goes around the ball rather than keeping her hands inside and driving through extension. Once she start to work on those areas in her play Mykayla will start to see positive change in her play both on the field and in the box.
