08/05/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Dublin (Columbus), OH Naima is a 2026 left handed pitcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. She gives great effort on defense and is always ready for the next play ahead of her. She has raw ability and needs to work on her mechanics so that she can be more consistent in the field. She makes routine plays and has a good pre pitch motion but needs to work on staying low through each play so that she can create more range in her skill set. On the mound, she extends through well on her release but pushes her momentum back in her wind up. She needs to drive off of the mound in her lower half more to create more velocity behind her pitches. Offensively, she is square in her stance and center in her balance. She shows good pop to her pull side but could use more activation in her lower half to produce more power to all parts of the field. Overall, Naima has great work ethic and will continue to improve if she continues to work hard.
