01/17/2014 - 2014 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Natalia is a freshman shortstop that was selected to play in the Pre-Season All-American game. Defensively, Natalia has an athletic and on time fielding position. When receiving the ball, Natalia has soft and sure hands. She has quick and fluid footwork and takes good angles to the ball. Natalia does a good job playing through the ball and getting to the short hop. She has agile range with sure and efficient feeds as well as smooth transitions. Offensively, Natalia is a switch hitter that slaps from the left side of the plate. She uses an athletic set up with a hands back load to make a positive move to the ball. Natalia maintains centered balance with a level swing path and on time rhythm. Natalia has the ability to lay down a one handed bunt and softly slap the ball to the left side. She also does a good job on the bases. She can easily turn a single into a double by taking advantage of the other teams mistakes. Overall, Natalia is a young talent that will only continue to develop.
