06/24/2013 - Softball Factory World Series Natalie continues to develop as an athlete. Her aggressive approach, work ethic, and hustle set a tone on the field. As a RHP, her leg drive and basic fundamentals provide opportunities for success. Continuing to focus on staying tall and within the powerline, arm action, and composure/rhythm when runners are on base will increase velocity, location, movement, and momentum. As an OF, she has an aggressive approach, active footwork, and plays through various balls. Continuing to focus on arm strength/slot, confident glovework, and quick first step will increase range and efficiency. As a hitter, she has a basic understanding with decent fundamentals that produce consistent contact. Continuing to focus on a stride and load, utilizing the lower half, finishing the swing, and pitch zone will increase power and efficiency. Implementing a strength and conditioning program will increase speed, agility, power, body awareness, and coordination. As Natalie continues to develop and mature through application and experience, she will be on track for seeking collegiate attention.

Natalie is an athletic 2 way player with pretty good feel in the circle. She uses a full arm swing with forward hand position in an athletic stance with level shoulders and stays in line through a complete finish. She displays fluid rhythm/tempo throughout her delivery and pounds the zone with her fastball and changeup. As an OF, she has soft hands, active feet and is an accurate thrower. She will benefit from keeping her feet simple/square in her prep step, exploding with her first few steps to beat the ball to the spot instead of drifting and playing through the ball aggressively before following throws with her feet. At the plate, Natalie uses a square set up with no load, a short stride, her weight back and is aggressive to the ball. She will experience better results if she uses her lower half better with a back side pivot, keeps her bat through contact to create extension and keeps her front side on the ball as long as she can before launching. She flashes the ability to drive the ball and will do so more consistently if the above mentioned adjustments are made. Overall, Natalie has the potential to get better every time out, she should continue to seek quality reps/instruction to ensure her progression continues.
