Behind the plate, she has quick feet and gets over top of the ball well in her blocks. She stays low in her catching position and has firm hands framing the ball. She has a smooth release point and makes accurate throws to bases. She is short in her action to the ball and works well with her pitchers. At shortstop she is fluid and moves well through the ball. She charges the ball well and creates good momentum through her throw. She is quick in her transfer and keeps her throws on line to her target. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and displays good weight transfer through her swing. She shows power in the gaps and barrels up the ball well. Overall, Nicole is very coachable and an athletic presence on the field.
