12/09/2012 - College PREP - Agoura Hills, CA Nicole is an athletic RHP/2B from the 2014 class. As a RHP, Nicole features a full arm circle with forward hand position in an athletic stance with smooth rhythm and tempo throughout her delivery. She maintains solid direction with level shoulders to a complete, athletic finish and should continue to work on spins and rotations to improve command and action on all pitches. She will benefit from continuing to work on the mound and should continue to seek quality instruction to ensure her progression in the circle. As a 2B, Nicole is a soft, sure handed defender with good instincts and agile range. She has a quick release that produces accurate results and should continue to work on improving her arm slot to improve carry and flight, as well as continuing to focus on using her lower half more aggressively to throw. At the plate, she uses a closed set up with no load or stride and has an aggressive path to the baseball. Long at times, her swing recovers to produce solid contact and will do so more consistently if she uses her lower half and strides to a soft front foot, allowing her to stay back and hit from behind the ball which will improve quality of contact and power production. Overall, Nicole is a talented player whom will benefit from a conditioning program and a solid drill package for both sides of the ball.
