04/07/2019 - College PREP - Billings, MT Piper is a 2022 right handed pitcher and shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to both sides. She stays low through each play and is quick in her action to the ball. She has solid momentum through each play and keeps her throws on line to her target. In the circle, she has a confident mound presence and extends through well on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and is balance on the mound. She has controlled mechanics and drives well off of the mound. Offensively, she has an on time stride in the box and loads back well in her lower half. She is smooth in her rhythm and keeps her hands inside the ball well. Overall, Piper has great work ethic and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
