01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown RaeLynn is a 2022 right handed shortstop and pitcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she stays low and square in her fielding position and displays great effort each play. She moves well to her glove side and is not afraid to dive for the ball. She keeps her throws on line to her target and is always ready for the next play. On the mound, RaeLynn keeps an open hip direction and has a positive mound presence in the circle. She attacks her hitters well and shows good wrist action on each pitch. By focusing on driving more through her legs she will start to have more speed and movement behind each pitch. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and an on time stride. She is smooth in her rhythm and stays center in her balance. She keeps a firm front side and has good pitch selection. RaeLynn makes hard contact and is consistent at the plate. Overall, she has a great attitude and hustles hard. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
