01/14/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Rhaylyn is a 2023 3B/RHP who attended the Softball Factory Pre-Season All America Tournament! On defense, she fields the ball out in front well, has good glove work, a quick exchange/transfer, and makes accurate throws. Pitching wise, she throws a fastball, changeup, curve ball, and drop ball. She spins the ball well, has a long arm circle, and throws consistent strikes. Hitting wise, she is balanced, has good pitch selection, strong mechanics, and is a gap to gap hitter. Overall, Rhaylyn is a player our coaching staff enjoyed working with and would love to see again in the future!
09/03/2021 - Softball Factory All-Region Tournament Rhaylyn is a 2023 graduate who plays 1B. She hustles and has a good attitude. She has a quick first step and good angles to the ball. Rhaylyn is a good bunter and has consistent contact. Working on being lower when fielding and loose arms in separation will help Rhaylyn take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the ability to continue improving her game on the diamond.
11/21/2020 - All-In Membership - Glendale (Phoenix), AZ Rhaylyn is a talented 2-way player (RHP/3B) who graduates in 2023. On the mound, this RHP has a 4-pitch arsenal in which to attack hitters with. She has sound mechanics and repeats her delivery well. She keeps the ball down in the zone and throws strikes with all of her pitches. FB ranges from 50-52 mph as she works it in and out. Curveball has good action and compliments her FB well. Screwball & rise-ball will continue to develop as she throws them more. At 3B, she has active prep and comes to get the GB. She gets into a low/athletic fielding position and fields the ball out in front. Hands are soft with a clean transfer to throw. As a hitter, this righty displays an athletic stance with smooth rhythm to load. Swing is level as she engages her lower 1/2 and squares the ball up, hitting line-drives. Tarango has a solid skill-set with upside as she approaches her sophomore season.
