11/10/2016 - Softball Factory Select Training & Competition at Historic Dodgertown Rhianna is a 2017 shortstop with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Rhianna is active with her footwork and has a clean exchange to throw. With improvement on the basic fundamentals and working more from the ground/up, Rhianna will become stronger on the defensive side of the game and allow her skill set to become smoother and more fluid. Offensively, Rhianna has a square set up and takes a short, soft stride to contact. She stays fluid with her rhythm and works together with her hips/hands for hard consistent contact. Rhianna takes a direct route to the ball and produces line drive power. By focusing more on her hand path and extension, Rhianna will become more consistent at the plate. Overall, Rhianna is a coachable athlete that will continue to improve on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
