09/19/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory 14u - Carolina Classic Riley continues to show up and show off her great skill set. She works hard every time she steps on the field and is a great teammates to those around her. Defensively, she is athletic and moves well through the ball. She works from the ground up and is fluid laterally. She keeps the ball in the infield with her range and fields the ball out in front. She is accurate to her target and shows strength in her release. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She is controlled in her load and keeps her barrel level through the zone. She has the ability to hit the ball hard to all parts of the field and makes the pitcher work to get her out. Overall, Riley will do what it takes to reach her goals if she continues to display the work ethic that she has.

12/27/2018 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp (Grad Years 2024-2026) Riley Crowl is an athletic shortstop with a well balanced skill set. Defensively she sets up on the balls of her feet with good balance. She had good feel at short stop. Her footwork is active and she stays low when fielding the ground ball. Her exchange and arm action to throw to her target is clean and her throws are accurate. She gets good backspin and has a strong arm. At the plate, Riley starts comfortable and athletic. She has controlled and fluid rhythm and starts her swing by loading her hands. Her swing is smooth and she extends through the ball. Her lower half stays centered with a firm front side. She rotates her core, swings hard and hits hard line drives. Riley has great energy and body language and is always ready to learn.
