In the outfield, Riley displays quick and fluid footwork. She is agile in her range and stays athletic in her fielding position. She positions her body well to get behind the ball creating momentum through the play. She has an accurate arm to her target and a quick release. At second base, she has active and effective footwork. She shows range to her glove side and moves well laterally. She has a clean exchange and accurate feeds on double plays. Offensively, Riley has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and is fluid in her rhythm. She displays quick hands through the zone and stays level throughout her swing. She makes hard and consistent contact in the gaps. Overall, Riley adjusts well and has good work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to be a good asset to a collegiate program.
