11/18/2012 - College PREP - Orange, CA Sabrina is a very athletic two way player with a lot of potential. As an OF, she is a soft, sure handed defender with fluid footwork and agile range. An aggressive OF, she will benefit from playing lower, not allowing ball to rattle around in glove and eliminating tendency to drift at times. She shows a great arm with a quick release to go along with a lot of natural ability and sharp instinctive play. As a 2B, she brings the same skill set with a good work ethic and solid energy. Choppy at times, her footwork needs additional reps to smooth out and play comfortably, but is very sharp around the bag on both sides of the double play. At the plate, Sabrina uses a closed set up with a bat-wrap load, short stride and has a short swing that produces solid contact. She has quick bat speed and should consider widening her feet in her set up, cleaning up load (no wrap) and striding to a soft front foot to keep hips from sliding forward. She flashes pop and should continue to improve strength and conditioning to get the most out of her abilities.
