05/05/2019 - College PREP - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Samantha is a 2023 outfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and range in the gaps. She reads the ball well off of the bat and has a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She stays low through ground balls and creates good momentum into her release. She keeps her throws on line and takes good angles back on the ball. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and stays smooth through the zone. She keeps a firm front side in her swing and keeps her hands inside the ball well displaying solid contact to the opposite field. Overall, Samantha has great work ethic and adjusts well when needed.
