08/29/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Boise, ID Samantha is a very talented 2024 OF who attended the Boise, ID Softball Factory Event. In the OF, Samantha has a quick first step to the ball, takes great angles, has a good drop step, and has a quick release on the ball. She is very athletic and moves well to the ball. Something for her to work on is a better crow hop, and using her whole body on her throws more. Hitting wise, she has a good setup in the box, is balanced at the plate, is a gap to gap hitter and and hits to all fields. She tracks the ball well and does a great job of driving her lower half. If she can work on letting the ball travel deeper into the zone she will be even stronger at the plate. Overall, Samantha has a bright future in the game and is someone our coaching staff would love to work with in the future!
