Defensively, Sami looks comfortable and athletic with a low fielding position and quick effective footwork. She has a quick release and clean exchanges resulting in on-line accurate throws. Sami demonstrated her athleticism with quick agility drills and a broad jump of 6'8. Along with her athleticism she showcased her strength and power with a raw arm velocity of 65 MPH and an exit velocity of 68 MPH. At the plate, Sami has a balanced and strong base with a fluid/smooth swing resulting in gap to gap power. As she continues to work on speed and strength there is no doubt Sami will reach great strides.
