03/02/2014 - College PREP - Orange, CA Sarah is a developing C with a balanced skill set. As a C, she has a quick release with life on her throw, receives confidently and gets around blocks well. Working on a stronger wrist when framing will help to improve receiving efficiency. Overall, Sarah understands the position well and is confident behind the plate. As a hitter, she uses a short stride and keeps her balance centered before producing consistent contact. She shows good power and will benefit from implementing a stride and load and a short bat path to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field efficiently. Overall, Sarah has a good frame for the position and has solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as an athlete.
