09/08/2013 - College PREP - Philadelphia, PA Sarah is an athletic young SS from the 2016 class. Defensively, she fields with soft sure hands, displays fluid footwork and has advanced range for a player her age. She looks the ball in well, is good on both sides of the double play and will benefit from keeping her feet active pre-pitch to get a better first step off the bat. At the plate, Sarah uses a square set up with no load a short stride and keeps her balance centered before launching her aggressive swing through the zone. She makes hard contact, generates quick bat speed and should continue to work on improving her timing, keeping her front side on the ball and keeping her lower half aggressive through the entire swing. Overall, Sarah has a lot of potential and should continue to seek quality reps and instruction to ensure she is being properly pushed and developed.
