04/27/2014 - College PREP - Columbia, SC Sarah is a freshman short stop with a developing skill set. Defensively, Sarah receives the ball out in front with soft hands. She has playable footwork with good range to her glove side. Sarah has an accurate arm when throwing across the diamond. By working on staying low and moving through the backhand, Sarah will increase her range and become a more efficient fielder. Offensively, Sarah uses a closed / square setup with a short stride to make a positive move to the ball. She has a level swing and has the ability to make hard contact at times. Sarah will benefit from incorporating hip drive into her swing. By using her legs, she will increase her power numbers tremendously. Overall, Sarah is a young player that will continue to develop with training.
