She works to put the ball in play and swings the bat hard. Adding a stride and load to her swing will allow her to create rhythm and be on time to contact. Behind the plate, Shelby works hard each play. She presents her glove on time and has quiet hands when receiving. She reads the ball well and is aggressive on bunt coverage. Adding a long toss program to her workouts will allow her to develop more arm strength. Overall, Shelby has a passion for the game and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
