01/12/2018 - 2018 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Shelby is a 2019 3B with an athletic skill set. In the box, Shelby is a RHH that uses a closed stance with centered balance and a short stride. She uses a back load, generates explosive bat speed and takes a direct path to the ball. She makes hard/consistent contact and shows power to the gaps. At 3B, Shelby shows good range. She is confident in her back hand and is able to take away hard hits on the line. She makes a clean exchange makes accurate throws to her target. She does a nice job of playing through the ball. Overall, Shelby will be a great addition to a collegiate line up.
