In the box, Shonty is a RHH that uses an athletic stance with a short stride and centered balance. She makes consistent contact and is a line drive hitter. Working to extend through contact will allow her to see more gap production. At SS, Shonty is an agile player. She presents her glove on time, fields with soft hands and makes a clean transfer. She has a fluid arm action and makes accurate throws with carry. Keeping her rhythm through the slow roller will allow her to keep momentum to her target. Overall, Shonty is an athletic player the tools need to play at the next level.
