01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Skyla Oliveira is a 2024 shortstop and RHP with a developed skill set. On the mound, she has good presence and an aggressive mindset. She can work ahead in the count and is good leaving runners on bases to end the inning. She is consistent in her pitches and can field her position cleanly. Offensively, she has an open setup and soft stride to the ball. Her pre-pitch approach is on time and her barrel is explosive through the zone. She has the ability to extend all the way through each pitch and makes hard contact to all fields. Overall, Skyla is a versatile player who is coachable and has a great attitude and clear passion for the game.
01/18/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Skyla is a 2024 right handed pitcher and shortstop with a strong skill set. She has fluid footwork and is agile in her range to the ball. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has soft hands when receiving the ball. She has a quick release and clean exchange on her throws to her target. She stays fluid in her action and makes accurate throws to her target. On the mound, she has a calm presence and extends through well on her release. She stays athletic in her balance and smooth in her mechanics. She has a solid change up and good movement on her pitches. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She gets through to extension well and drives through with her lower half. She shows power in the gaps and a good eye for the strike zone. Overall, Skyla works really hard and is a small kid that plays big.

04/08/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Marlborough (Boston), MA Skyla is a 2023 RHP with a developing skill set. On the mound, Skyla has a confident presence. She shows good balance with a free arm action and smooth mechanics. She uses her lower half well and has a controlled finish. Skyla's 4 pitch package includes a change-up with good downward movement. Working to get under her rise ball will allow her to see more movement. In the box, Skyla is a LHH that is able to slap. She has an athletic stance with centered balance. She creates rhythm with an on-time stride and back load. She makes hard, consistent contact and works the middle of the field. Working to eliminate her arm bar will allow her to extend more through contact. Overall, Skyla is an athletic player and with the proper coaching she will continue to see improvements to her game.
