05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2023-2025) Sofia is a 2024 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she receives the ball well and is quick in her exchange to her throw. She blocks the ball well and positions herself well over top of the ball to use her body to keep the ball in front of her. Offensively, she has a tall and athletic set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and has solid strike zone awareness. She has an athletic presence and drives the ball to her pull side consistently. Overall, Sofia has a great attitude and if she continues to work hard she will do what it take to play at the next level.
