She has a quick release with an accurate arm with throwing to the bases. When receiving the ball, Sophia sticks the ball well and is knowledgeable about framework. By working on getting around the ball when blocking, Sophia will be able to keep balls in front more efficiently. Offensively, Sophia uses a square setup with a backwards load to make a positive move to the ball. she has a short swing path and maintains centered balance through contact. Sophia has quick bat speed and consistently hits the ball hard. She is a quality line drive hitter with good hip drive and extension. Overall, Sophia is an athletic player that will continue to grow and develop.
