Defensively, she has an accurate arm with carry on her throw and fields with confident glovework. Working on staying in an athletic position when fielding and backhand glovework will help to improve range and efficiency. Overall, Steffi has athleticism and confidence on the field. As a hitter, she relies on a short stride, centered balance and timing to produce contact to the opposite field. She shows potential for power and will benefit from an athletic set up, implementing a consistent stride and load, and utilizing the lower half to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Steffi has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
