03/17/2019 - College PREP - Chestnut Ridge (NYC), NY Summer is a 2022 right handed third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to both sides. She is short in her action to the ball and makes accurate throws to her target. She keeps her throws on line but needs to work on staying lower through each play to create more range in her defense abilities. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and is fluid in her rhythm. She squares up the ball and displays the ability to spray the ball to all sides of the field. Overall, Summer has a great work ethic and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
